{"id":4505,"date":"2025-04-16T14:49:28","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T14:49:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.andex-rhp.org\/?p=4505"},"modified":"2025-04-16T14:49:29","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T14:49:29","slug":"influencia-de-estructuras-topograficas-locales-en-los-mecanismos-atmosfericos-asociados-a-la-zona-mas-lluviosa-de-la-cuenca-andino-amazonica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.andex-rhp.org\/?p=4505","title":{"rendered":"Influencia de estructuras topogr\u00e1ficas locales en los mecanismos atmosf\u00e9ricos asociados a la zona m\u00e1s lluviosa de la cuenca andino-amaz\u00f3nica"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Por Ricardo Gutierrez Villarreal*\/<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La regi\u00f3n de transici\u00f3n Andes-Amazon\u00eda alberga a la zona m\u00e1s lluviosa de la cuenca andino-amaz\u00f3nica, el <em>hotspot<\/em> de precipitaci\u00f3n de Quincemil, con acumulados anuales de hasta 7000 mm\/a\u00f1o. Esta alta pluviosidad, junto a factores hidrol\u00f3gicos y geol\u00f3gicos, ha contribuido a la notable biodiversidad de la regi\u00f3n, cuyo auge puede rastrearse entre hace 5 y 10 millones de a\u00f1os, seg\u00fan registros f\u00f3siles que datan de dicha \u00e9poca. Este periodo coincide con la aparici\u00f3n del arco de Fitzcarrald, una estructura topogr\u00e1fica de hasta 600 m s. n. m. originada por la subducci\u00f3n de la placa de Nazca bajo la placa sudamericana, ubicada cerca del <em>hotspot<\/em> y posiblemente actuando como uno de los primeros obst\u00e1culos al flujo de humedad amaz\u00f3nico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al remover el arco de Quincemil y una estructura asociada a ella, la monta\u00f1a de Camisea, en simulaciones de verano en un modelo num\u00e9rico de la atm\u00f3sfera, se encontr\u00f3 que el arco de Fitzcarrald explica el 16% de la precipitaci\u00f3n simulada en el <em>hotspot<\/em> de Quincemil.&nbsp; El efecto combinado de remover al arco de Fitzcarrald y la monta\u00f1a de Camisea resulta en la disminuci\u00f3n del 40% de la precipitaci\u00f3n simulada en el <em>hotspot<\/em> de Quincemil, as\u00ed como cambios en su posici\u00f3n. Esto est\u00e1 sostenido por la influencia de la topograf\u00eda en los mecanismos atmosf\u00e9ricos, evidenciados por cambios en las magnitudes y direcciones del viento proveniente de la Amazon\u00eda alrededor del <em>hotspot<\/em> de Quincemil, particularmente durante la noche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Si se considera, adem\u00e1s, la reducci\u00f3n de la mitad de los Andes (a escala regional), se obtiene una reducci\u00f3n del 60% de la precipitaci\u00f3n alrededor del <em>hotspot<\/em> de Quincemil. Esto se debe a un notable debilitamiento del flujo de humedad a escala regional a lo largo de la vertiente oriental de los Andes, lo cual puede estar explicado por una reducci\u00f3n del forzamiento mec\u00e1nico de los vientos al haber reducido los Andes a la mitad.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos resultados sugieren que ciertas estructuras orogr\u00e1ficas influyen en el clima de la regi\u00f3n m\u00e1s lluviosa de la Amazon\u00eda a escalas locales y regionales, favoreciendo condiciones paisaj\u00edsticas \u00fanicas que habr\u00edan contribuido a la gran biodiversidad local. No obstante, estas simulaciones son idealizaciones de estados de hace 5-10 millones de a\u00f1os, cuando la altura de los Andes era la mitad de la actualidad y no pretenden ser fieles representaciones paleoclim\u00e1ticas. Otros factores no representados, como la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica atmosf\u00e9rica, la posici\u00f3n de los continentes (y cambios asociados en la insolaci\u00f3n), la circulaci\u00f3n oce\u00e1nica de gran escala y otras coberturas del suelo como el sistema Pebas tambi\u00e9n habr\u00edan jugado un rol clave en la climatolog\u00eda alrededor del <em>hotspot<\/em> de Quincemil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"821\" src=\"https:\/\/www.andex-rhp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Captura-de-pantalla-2025-04-16-a-las-9.45.00\u202fa.-m.-2-1024x821.png\" alt=\"Modelo conceptual de la topograf\u00eda a escala local y regional en la circulaci\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica y los hotspots de precipitaci\u00f3n (cantidades mayores a 18 mm\/d\u00eda representados por barras verdes) durante el verano.
