{"id":4435,"date":"2025-03-24T17:09:37","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T17:09:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.andex-rhp.org\/?p=4435"},"modified":"2025-03-27T16:52:20","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T16:52:20","slug":"un-analisis-hidrometeorologico-de-la-tragica-tormenta-de-bahia-blanca-argentina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.andex-rhp.org\/?p=4435","title":{"rendered":"Un an\u00e1lisis hidrometeorol\u00f3gico de la tr\u00e1gica tormenta de Bah\u00eda Blanca, Argentina"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Por Ren\u00e9 Garreaud* e Ivan Vergara**\/<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El viernes 7 de marzo de 2025 una intensa tormenta produjo acumulaciones de lluvia superiores a 300 mm en seis horas sobre y alrededor de la ciudad de Bah\u00eda Blanca, en el litoral sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los cerca de 300 mm en 4 horas produjeron una gran y extensa inundaci\u00f3n que cost\u00f3 la vida de 15 personas, miles de damnificados y una gran afectaci\u00f3n a la infraestructura p\u00fablica&nbsp;y privada. Junto con el aumento de la amenaza f\u00edsica, sobre la cual tenemos poco control, existen marcados cambios demogr\u00e1ficos y tecnol\u00f3gicos que alteran la exposici\u00f3n y vulnerabilidad -y en consecuencia el riesgo- sobre los cuales s\u00ed es posible intervenir de manera local y tangible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En particular, la ubicaci\u00f3n de grandes poblaciones en terrenos potencialmente inundables representa uno de los mayores impulsores del aumento de riesgo en muchos lugares del planeta, y queda de manifiesto en el reciente evento en Bah\u00eda Blanca. Aunque este problema es ampliamente reconocido, limitaciones econ\u00f3micas y elementos socioculturales dificultan la relocalizaci\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n en terrenos menos vulnerables.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque lejos de los Andes, nuestra cordillera siempre juega un rol, y ademas el evento fue tan notable que en este breve an\u00e1lisis&nbsp;describimos en alg\u00fan detalle las condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas, recopilamos sus principales impactos y discutimos c\u00f3mo ha cambiado el riesgo de estas inundaciones&nbsp;desastrosas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"402\" src=\"https:\/\/www.andex-rhp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/FIGURA-4-1024x402.jpg\" alt=\"(A) Imagen infrarroja superpuesta en la visible del sat\u00e9lite GOES-16 a las 10 hora local (HL) del 7 de marzo de 2025.
