Esta regi\u00f3n est\u00e1 expuesta a desastres naturales debido a las pendientes pronunciadas, eventos hidrometeorol\u00f3gicos extremos, el cambio clim\u00e1tico, la deforestaci\u00f3n y los cambios en el uso del suelo. Predecir las respuestas hidrol\u00f3gicas de este tipo de sistemas hidrol\u00f3gicos es crucial para garantizar servicios ecosist\u00e9micos de las cuencas y una adecuada planificaci\u00f3n territorial.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>La modelaci\u00f3n hidrol\u00f3gica est\u00e1 influenciada principalmente por la incertidumbre de los datos de entrada, la estructura y los par\u00e1metros del modelo. Abordar estas limitaciones es fundamental para mejorar los modelos hidrol\u00f3gicos, especialmente en regiones con alta variabilidad clim\u00e1tica y condiciones cambiantes. Identificar las fortalezas y debilidades de los modelos es esencial para seleccionar el modelo m\u00e1s adecuado, particularmente en pa\u00edses donde la disponibilidad de observaciones es limitada.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Este estudio utiliza el modelo agregado Sacramento Soil Moisture Accounting (SAC-SMA), el cual ha sido ampliamente utilizado. En este contexto, esta investigaci\u00f3n tiene como objetivo evaluar la efectividad del modelo SAC-SMA para simular el caudal en 12 cuencas de alta pendiente ubicadas en la regi\u00f3n andina de Colombia con diferentes reg\u00edmenes clim\u00e1ticos y caracter\u00edsticas geomorfol\u00f3gicas. El estudio se centra en el an\u00e1lisis del modelo SAC-SMA para reproducir caudales altos (0\u201310% de excedencia), condiciones h\u00famedas (10\u201340%), condiciones intermedias (40\u201360%) y condiciones secas (60\u2013100%). Adem\u00e1s de analizar la representaci\u00f3n del flujo subsuperficial y flujo base.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En general, los resultados demuestran la capacidad del modelo SAC-SMA para representar caudales en condiciones h\u00famedas, intermedias y secas en las cuencas estudiadas. Sin embargo, el modelo presenta dificultades para capturar caudales altos. Para caudales altos (0\u201310% de excedencia), el rendimiento fue menor, con un KGE promedio de 0.52.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Influencia de la geomorfolog\u00eda:<\/strong>&nbsp;se encontraron correlaciones entre la eficiencia del modelo y las propiedades geomorfol\u00f3gicas de las cuencas. Esto subraya los desaf\u00edos de la modelaci\u00f3n hidrol\u00f3gica en cuencas de alta monta\u00f1a y regiones con alta variabilidad clim\u00e1tica, donde la representaci\u00f3n precisa de la lluvia resulta particularmente dif\u00edcil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>An\u00e1lisis de los componentes de escorrent\u00eda:<\/strong>&nbsp;se analizaron los componentes de escorrent\u00eda directa, flujo intermedio y flujo base calculados por el modelo SAC-SMA. En comparaci\u00f3n con datos observados el modelo logr\u00f3 representar satisfactoriamente el flujo base, lo que demuestra su potencial para aplicaciones relacionadas con aguas subterr\u00e1neas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Observaciones finales:<\/strong>&nbsp;se resalta el potencial del modelo SAC-SMA como una herramienta \u00fatil para estimaciones de caudal, especialmente en condiciones intermedias y secas.
