Los cambios en los montos de precipitaci\u00f3n y de la temperatura han reducido la masa glaciar gatillando un incremento en su aporte h\u00eddrico a los r\u00edos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El estudio llamado Respuesta hidrol\u00f3gica de las cuencas andinas a la p\u00e9rdida reciente de masa glaciar (en ingl\u00e9s, Hydrological response of Andean catchments to recent glacier mass loss<sup>1<\/sup>), estim\u00f3 el cambio de los glaciares y de su contribuci\u00f3n h\u00eddrica a los r\u00edos en 786 cuencas hidrogr\u00e1ficas de los Andes durante el periodo 2000-2019. Fueron utilizados productos clim\u00e1ticos de rean\u00e1lisis corregidos con datos medidos y el modelo glaciol\u00f3gico Open Global Glacier Model (OGGM<sup>2<\/sup>). La simulaci\u00f3n de glaciares fue calibrada y evaluada con mediciones en glaciares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Los resultados obtenidos para todo los Andes revelaron una reducci\u00f3n del 8% en el volumen glaciar y un incremento del 12% en la contribuci\u00f3n h\u00eddrica de los glaciares al caudal de los r\u00edos entre los periodos 2000-2009 y 2010-2019.
